Project Management Online offers a critical and comprehensive initiation to the practice of project management and blends theory with practical examples. This course is delivered online through Blackboard Learn and prepares students to become certified through PMI with the industry-recognized Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) credential.

Course Description
Project Management focuses on the practical application and best practices of the project management processes outlined in the Project Management Institute’s A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK). Consideration of the five Project Management Process Groups of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing the project will be examined in the context of each of 10 knowledge areas. These include:
- Project Integration
- Time Management
- Quality Management
- Communications Management
- Procurement Management This course offers a critical and comprehensive initiation to the practice of project management and blends theory with practical examples.
